Who it is for
Lazy Map is made for people who think in associations, and who often have several ideas in mind at once. You open it to empty your head before a meeting, plan a house move, start a writing project or organise a trip.
What it does
- A map that arranges itself. You add an idea in one gesture, and the layout follows. The map spreads out like a fan, to the right, to the left or from top to bottom, and you can also place an idea by hand.
- A map from your notes. Paste an outline written elsewhere, one idea per line, with indents: it becomes a whole map.
- The same map as a list. An outline view shows your ideas as a list that folds away, to read them back or put them in order.
- Colours, tags and folders. Each branch has its own colour, an idea can carry a tag, and your maps sort into folders.
- Export to send or print. As an image, as SVG to rework in a drawing app, as a one-page PDF, or as bulleted text to paste elsewhere.
- As many maps as you like, offline. No limit on maps or ideas.
What it does not do
- No syncing between devices. Maps live on the phone, and nowhere else.
- No online backup. To keep your maps safe or move them to another phone, the app exports a full backup.
- No collaboration. It is a personal tool.
- No iPhone version. Android only.
- No advertising, ever.

What it knows about you
Nothing. There is no account, no server, no artificial intelligence, no tracker, no advertising. Your maps are stored on the phone and only leave it if you export them yourself: the studio cannot know what you write in them, or even whether you use the app. Only Google Play knows that the app was installed, as with any app from the store. The details are in the privacy policy, which is in French for now.

Does Lazy Map work without internet?
Yes, entirely. The app never needs a connection, not on first launch and not afterwards.
Do I have to create an account?
No. There is no account in Lazy Map, and there never will be.
Can I turn a written outline into a mind map?
Yes. Paste your text, one idea per line, and indent a line to place it under the one above. The app shows you what will happen before it creates the map.
Do my maps sync with my computer?
No. To pick a map up elsewhere, export it as an image, as a PDF or as text.
Is there an iPhone version?
No, Lazy Map only exists on Android.
